Our Alkamicronized Selective® technology, analyzed by the Galician Ceramics Institute, allows us to filter 400 liters of water free of chlorine, fluorine, pesticides, nitrites, heavy metals such as lead or mercury, trihalomethanes, among others, by up to 99%.

Our filters use activated coconut carbon, a completely natural product obtained from the shell of this fruit. As a product of plant origin, it contains no heavy metals or chemical compounds, so it adds no calcium or sodium, but does add magnesium of the highest quality, 100% bioavailable.

What is ion-exchange resin?

Ion-exchange resins are synthetic gel beads, derived from petroleum (benzene and styrene), that exchange particular ions for other ions.

Most conventional pitchers include ion-exchange resins in their filters.

These brands, many of them multinationals, defend the use of this type of chemical in their filters, claiming that their toxicity does not migrate into the water, but we question this, since water is the universal solvent and any element can very easily migrate into it. In the same way that microplastics do migrate from bottled water containers or from unsafe containers without toxin-free plastic certification.

Do you know what CAM is?

It is the Maintained Antioxidant Capacity, that is, the amount of antioxidant our body retains once the alkaline water has been drunk.

What kind of water do you drink?

Tap water

Did you know that it may contain chlorine, heavy metals, microplastics, solid residues and other elements that are toxic and harmful to health?

Bottled water

All bottles contain hormonal contaminants. They release a significant amount of toxins into the water known as endocrine disruptors: bisphenol A, phthalates and others.

This was shown in the analysis of bottled water published in Environment International, carried out by the Biosanitary Research Institute of Granada in 2015.

In the laboratory, they analyzed the hormonal activity of 29 samples of bottled water sold in Spain, from different springs and with impeccable “natural mineral water” marketing. The results showed that all of them had hormonal activity.

In 2019, the scientific journal Frontiers in Chemistry published a study which found that microplastic particles are much more common in mineral water than in tap water. The study assessed water from 11 international brands purchased in different places in several countries. In total, 259 bottles were analyzed and 93% of them showed some sign of microplastic contamination.

They ranged from 325 to 10,000 microplastic particles per liter of water, and although these particles are also found in tap water, their presence doubles in bottled water.

The ANIBES Study, coordinated by Gregorio Varela-Moreiras, president of the Spanish Nutrition Foundation (FEN), found that a significant proportion of the Spanish population, around 80%, does not meet the recommended intake of calcium, magnesium and vitamin D. (Read the study's press release here)

Water in its purest, most natural state contains minerals. These minerals are necessary nutrients that help our body carry out its functions, including the maintenance and proper functioning of the bones, heart and brain. Why remove them from water through a chemical process?

The Alkanatur Drops pitcher alkalizes and ionizes without adding sodium or chemicals, and without electricity or titanium electrodes.

Compare alkalizing systems before you buy

Before buying a system to alkalize, purify, ionize or hydrogenate water, ask the seller for a scientific study carried out by prestigious institutions with the very equipment you want to buy.

Nobody except us will show you one, because the ability to neutralize acids, the antioxidant capacity and the release of magnesium are diluted in stomach acid.
